We are trying to open Churches with Helps Center Outreaches in larger Metropolitan areas to provide Hope & Encouragement for Women and their Children that have a husband in prison.  Most people do not realize that when a husband or father is incarcerated, the Wife and Children left behind, are left in a prison of their own.  Not one behind bars, but one of the World.  We pray that our Helps Centers will spread throughout the United States at a rapid pace.  Here is a brief description of what the Helps Centers will provide.....

1. TRANSPORTATION: Help with or Provide transportation and finances for the women and their children to be able to make regular visitation trips. The Center will also help with securing bus passes to get to and from work and help with negotiations on purchasing an automobile with No or Bad credit and Limited income without having to pay ridiculous amounts of interest.

2. SUPPORT SESSIONS/CHURCH SERVICE: The Center will hold a meeting during the week for the spouses of the incarcerated to share with others that are going through and understand the same trials they are dealing with. It will teach them how to rely on God for guidance and help them grow in Christ. The Church service will be based on the basics of the Bible and the Biblical ways and importance of a marriage. The Church service will provide a basic bible study where they can learn about God and how to receive Jesus Christ into their life. It will show them with Christ in their life, how they can have a stronger marriage with their husband once he is back at home. The Center will stay in contact with the inmate through Pen Pal programs and Inmate Newsletters. We will be explaining to them the importance of growing their life with Christ while they are away and explain to them how we are helping their family do the same on the outside.

3. CHILDREN: The Center will help with school supplies and current trend clothing for the children. Help with birthdays and Christmas presents. It will help provide or locate a mentor for the boys and girls that have to deal with not having a Dad or Mom to take them to the ball game or shopping.

4. JOBS: The Center will help the women left behind and the incarcerated once they are released back into society, locate jobs, provide basic job training on how to interview and get hired for employment, how to start a small business and basic computer training. The Center will solicit hiring managers from local companies to come and speak at the training sessions.

5. HOUSING: The Center will help locate affordable housing for the left behind family members and for the incarcerated that has no family left when they return and need help finding a place that will rent to them without any references or with a criminal record.

6. FURNITURE - CLOTHING - TOOLS: The Center will help obtain or get basic furniture and clothing for the women and children. It will also help the incarcerated obtain work tools and clothing for different types of trades once they are released.

7. HANDYMAN SERVICE: The Center will help the left behind spouses with fix it jobs around the house and help with auto repairs. When the husband is gone, the wife may need someone to help change the A/C filters, fix the sink, mow the lawn and change the oil on the car. You would think that they could just go to the local auto service center, however most of the time they do not have $14.95 for an oil change.

8.  24/7 PRAYER & SUPPORT:  The Center will have someone available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week for those times that you are struggling with the pressures of the World and just needing a shoulder to cry on or someone to talk to and pray for you.  The Center will have a 24 hour Internet Radio Station to receive Live prayer requests and broadcast messages of Hope & Encouragement throughout the day and night.
